"nothing new under the sun", curated by Tonica Hunter, is the performative/musical offering to the exhibition "Avantgarde and Liberation. Contemporary art and decolonial Modernism “ and the reopening of mumok Vienna in June 2024. The 4-part afterparty includes interventions from local and international positions which reanimate and refer connection between ancestral and afrofuturist knowledge using sonic and visual media.
